When you first open the app there is an ad for another app. If you choose yes, then you are presented with an opportunity to buy a DIFFERENT app for $4.99 (or whatever). It may be another wall paper app or even the HD version of this app. You are not forced to choose to view the advertised app, let alone buy it. Seeing an ad upon first opening an app is not unusual nor is it deceitful.

I really dislike it when devs are "punished" by having their overall star rating lowered because of the ignorance or stupidity of people who dont pay attention or who expect an app to do something it was not designed to do.

I got this app on sale for $0 and am using it just fine.
